About our Team Vanessa Stemples, President and founder, is a credentialed Florida Childcare Center Director and an active Child Development Associate (CDA). Vanessa received her degree in early childhood education from American River College in 1998 after graduating with honors. Vanessa is active in many professional, community and charity organizations and is a member of the NAEYC. Lance Stemples, CFO and Human Resources Director, is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) with more than 10 years experience in public and private practice. Lance has worked with Leaps and Bounds since its 1996 inception in various organizational, finance and human resources roles while maintaining a private accounting and business consulting practice. Ashley Fay, Regional Program Director, joined Leaps and Bounds in 2006 and is responsible for the day-to-day operations of our Ocoee Country Day School as well as general corporate support. Ashley is a credentialed Florida Childcare Center Director and has earned her Florida Child Care Professional Credential (FCCPC).  Ashley has earned an associates degree with an emphasis in early childhood education and is currently completing her bachelors degree in early childhood education at the University of Central Florida. Angela Pettit, Edgewater Site Director, joined Leaps and Bounds in 2008 and is responsible for the day-to-day operations of our Edgewater Campus.  Angela is a credentialed Florida Childcare Center Director and has earned her Florida Child Care Professional Credential (FCCPC).  Angela recently completed her associates degree with an emphasis in early childhood education and is currently working to complete her bachelors degree in business management from Daytona State College.  Sharon Fore, Wildwood Site Director, joined Leaps and Bounds in 2006 and is a credentialed Florida Childcare Center Director with more than 25 years experience in teaching and childcare center management. Sharon is responsible for the day-to-day operations of our Wildwood Country Day School. Leaps and Bounds employs the best and brightest management and teaching staff in the childcare industry.
