About our Team Vanessa Stemples, President and founder, is a credentialed Florida Childcare Center Director and an active Child Development Associate (CDA). Vanessa received her degree in early childhood education from American River College in 1998 after graduating with honors. Vanessa is active in many professional, community and charity organizations and is a member of the NAEYC. Lance Stemples, CFO and Human Resources Director, is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) with more than 10 years experience in public and private practice. Lance has worked with Leaps and Bounds since its 1996 inception in various organizational, finance and human resources roles while maintaining a private accounting and business consulting practice. Leaps and Bounds employs the best and brightest management and teaching staff in the childcare industry.
